Frequently Asked Questions Deer Valley

  • We are based in Park City — but we are not exclusively a “Park City wedding band.”

Rhinestone Rodeo performs for weddings and private events throughout the United States and internationally. However, Park City is home. Many of us grew up skiing these mountains and performing in this community long before we were playing destination events around the world.

Deer Valley and Park City aren’t just markets for us — they’re personal. That familiarity brings confidence and ease when performing at venues like Silver Lake Lodge, St. Regis Deer Valley, Stein Eriksen Lodge, and Montage Deer Valley.

  • Yes. Rhinestone Rodeo provides a complete, one-stop live music experience including:

    • Ceremony music and microphones

    • On-site professional sound engineer

    • Outdoor cocktail hour performance

    • Full reception band

    • Integrated lighting production

    • Private last dance options

Many Deer Valley weddings move between multiple spaces, and working with one cohesive team keeps the atmosphere connected throughout the entire day.

  • Yes.

We regularly learn and perform custom song requests — especially for:

    • First dances

    • Parent dances

    • Ceremony processional and recessional songs

These moments are personal and meaningful, and we make sure they feel exactly right.

If you already know the specific songs you want, we’ll learn them. If you’re still deciding, we’re happy to provide suggestions.

  • Absolutely — with intention.

We encourage couples to share a handful of “must-have” songs that reflect their style, along with a short “do not play” list.

    Love Taylor Swift?
    Hate Taylor Swift?

No problem. We’ve got you covered.

Whether your vision leans country chic, pop-forward, classic rock, or something entirely different, we tailor the set accordingly.

We’re in the party business and know how to keep a dance floor packed. Tell us a few of your favorites — and leave the rest to us.

  • Yes.

We provide a professional-grade sound system designed for clear, even coverage in both indoor and outdoor settings. Whether your reception takes place in a ballroom, on a terrace, or inside a lodge space, every guest will hear your speeches clearly and fully experience the energy of the dance floor.

A professional sound engineer is included with every event to manage levels, transitions, and overall mix quality. From ceremony microphones to toasts to high-energy dance sets, we ensure the audio remains polished and consistent throughout the entire celebration.

If your wedding spans multiple locations — such as a ceremony site, cocktail deck, and reception ballroom — we provide separate sound setups as needed to ensure seamless coverage across each space.

  • Absolutely. Rhinestone Rodeo is modular and can expand the lineup. Options include a horn section (trumpet, saxophone, or a full horn line), electric or acoustic violin, or both. We scale the ensemble to match your venue and vision.

  • Our appearance and presentation can match the tone of your wedding — whether that’s mountain-western, elevated country, black-tie reception, or something in between.

The music can reflect that balance as well. We can play as much or as little country as you’d like, blending pop, rock, and dance music to match the overall atmosphere you want to create.

If you’re worried about it feeling or looking too cowboy or western, don’t be — we can easily turn the western vibe up or down depending on what you want. Cowboy hats and boots are totally optional.

While we love bringing that country chic energy, we’re first and foremost a high-energy party band playing current dance hits, rock classics, and crowd favorites that keep your dance floor full all night long.

Want something more traditional? Ask for our look book to see the range of styles we offer. You can also take a look at us playing at Caesars Palace for a more classic, elevated party band look.

Prefer a more traditional, polished party-band look? We can leave the boots and hats at home and dress in a more classic, upscale event style.

  • Yes. We provide integrated stage lighting tailored specifically to your reception and venue.

Our lighting is designed to enhance the band and dance floor — adding energy and dimension during high-impact dance sets — while maintaining the refined aesthetic of a luxury mountain wedding.

Importantly, we provide stage lighting, not full-room event lighting. We do not wash the entire space or alter your planned ambiance, florals, or candlelight design.

The goal is simple: elevate the party when it’s time to dance, while preserving the elegance of the room you’ve carefully designed.
